Duo-R switch hitting MicroSD card
« on: August 02, 2019, 12:39 AM »
The Turbo Everdrive works fine with my PCE Duo, but when I try to turn the power on with it in my Duo-R, the switch hits the MicroSD card instead of going fully into the "on" position (see attachment). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep this from happening?

I looked through the forum and found several other people with this issue. I saw some posters saying that the problem is that the SD card lip is too thick, but I don't think that's it- the bottom of the SD card is higher than the top of the gap in the switch (see attachment)

EDIT: I found the problem. The card is actually too thin, and was being pushed up by the MicroSD card slot. I put a couple pieces of tape on top of the card to make it thicker and now the system is able to switch on/off normally.
