A soft reset from gamepad. I know that can cause problems to games the reset code, but you can do It like sd2snes hook that can be enabled or disabled? Please, thanks

There are at least a few current solutions to this...

• Dont be lazy...
• Install an extended cabled pushbutton (2 wires and a spring switch)
• Get an UltraHDMI mod (http://ultrahdmi.retroactive.be/)
• Get an N360 mod (http://n360-usb.com/)
• Get an https://github.com/jago85/UltraPIF_Hardware PCB mod (this one needs checking, I am sure it does it though)

I'm curious if it might be difficult to recreate the reset button for a general-purpose flashcart compared to an OEM cartridge. A lot of the NMI reset functionality is handled in software. Or, at least, according to the official SDK.

Yes but why would it matter if it was a flashcart or not? The rom still needs to be patched. I think in-game hooks are not possible on the current ED64s.
