Cool!

Apparently the problem now is only in SanDisk Class 4 above 8GB.

My SanDisk Class 4 8GB works fine in Everdrive GBA and I'm glad to know that Kingston Class 4 16GB and 32GB works fine because I intend buy a Kingston 16GB or 32GB too.

got my gba everdrive in and none of my sd cards work other than a 4gb kingston. So I used it to update the bootloader to 3.0 and i put 4.0 on the card i want to use and have all the files on but I still get the F6 fat32 not detected. The card im trying to use is a sandisk 32gb microsd hc. Anyone have anything else I can try?

the problem with that is many folks have been robbing sd's from their other devices to test them in their x5's.

I've tried all my cards from my other everdrive a in with no luck. Now I just have to spend money to buy cards and hope they work.

Any update on ADATA cards? People should try out that brand.

Do we know if Krikzz is still working on a fix to get SanDisk Class 4 HC to work? This is the basic off the shelf microSD card making it the most common kind in Sweden and I imagine many other countries too.
Also what caused this? Seems strange that this error happened now, when all other Everdrives I've bought accepted almost all cards I've thrown at them.

Now with os 1.05 and bootloader 1.04 sandisk cards should work fine. I hope this is last update related to sd card compatibility (:

I tried both a 32 GB Samsung and a 16 GB Sandisk card and neither worked, even after updating the OS and boot loader.

There might be a bit of confusion with updating the boot loader.
If you already did this correctly then ignore this post. This is just to clarify.

Updating the GBA OS is not going to fix the SD card issue.
In conjunction with copying the new OS to the SD card, you must also copy the bootloader installer to the root of the card. Found here:
http://krikzz.com/pub/support/everdrive-gba/bootloader/

Then run through the installer.

Just to say with the latest updates my 32GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC Class 10 now works fine. However as Krikzz suggested I did have to do a full (not quick) format using Windows format tool, after that no problems.

Many thanks to Krikzz for your excellent support and resolution of this issue.

By he way, recently i bought a lot of sd cart for testing, and did not formatted any of them and they all working as is, right from the box (:

That is good to know, but I had been doing a lot of mucking about with my 32GB card whilst you were on holiday trying to get it to work, using other programs to format etc, so I think that is why I had to re format the card.

Got my unit in today! It's working a dream on my GBA SP AGS-101! Using a 32GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC Class 10 and it is working fine on the latest 1.05 Firmware and 1.04 Bootloader!

NOW! To gaming! 8)
