new famicom console/clone?
« on: September 27, 2013, 10:45 AM »
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-Nintendo-Famicom-Console-with-244-Games-Officially-Licensed-REF-007-/271285283404?pt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item3f29dcea4c

this caught my eye in the description...

with a volume control of sixteen levels and hardware pitch bending supporting frequencies ranging from 54 Hz to 28 kHz and a DPCM channel with 6-bit resolution, using 1-bit delta encoding at sixteen preprogrammed sample rates from 4.2 kHz to 33.5 kHz

does this mean it can output expansion audio?

It might support expansion audio but the information you quoted doesn't have much to do with it. It look like a typical crap clone with a bunch of tech talk to make it sound like it got advanced features.

I doubt that it is officially licensed even though that ebay auction says it is.  Its probably just and update to this:
