I think even the PSIO was cloned recently.  Chinese will clone anything they get their hands on.
Source?

Discussion is on the PSIO official web forum.  Obviously I don't advise buying a knock off.
I have 2 so i wasn't planning on doing that. I was just curious where that was said. :P

News / Re: EDN8 OS v20-BETA. Large update incoming

That is strange. I've just received some cheap-ass 60 to 72 pin adapter from China, and my Everdrive N8 works on my AV Famicom, and NES frontloader (PAL) consoles with V20 firmware. I haven't spotted any issues so far.
Try Mega man 3 and 4. 3 randomly freezes and 4 has graphical issues like with the hippo in ring man's stage.

I have a blinking light win and besides some glitches, os20 works.

I have a revision f sd2snes and with firmware 1.10.0 hyper dimension works without any problems. I'm using a 1 chip super famicom.

There's a flash cart for the god damned Virtual Boy ffs, there should be one for the Jag.

Where?!? I've wanted one forever but haven't seen them for sale in a decade.

EverDrive 64 / Re: PAL N64 with Everdrive

I can run ntsc games on my pal n64 just fine.

Ok thanks. From what I understand on the N64 they will work but PAL clock speed is a little slower. Since the NTSC N64 is not expensive I will just pick one up.

Thank you guys.
Ntsc games run at 60 hertz but the timing oscillator is slightely slower. You'll hardly notice it.

I'm a big fan. krikzz: please make a wireless Saturn controller.  ;D

8bitdo is already working on one of those and from what I've heard its practically near release so krikzz has pretty much been beaten to the punch on that front, which is all the more reason we should hope he takes James F's criticism's seriously and gets this d-pad issue sorted out ASAP as in we don't want our little yellow crooked smiley faced buddy to get discouraged from continuing the new controller creating endeavor.  :P
Are you sure you´re not confusing 8bitdo with retro-bit? All i can find about an 8bitdo sega saturn controller is this year's april fools joke.

My recently modded virtual boy. I t has dual tv output with rgb, individual toggle switches for each output to toggle between 8 different colors, Audio from the audio jack rerouted to also work on both tv outputs with stereo and a buffer, a power socket and on and off switch on the device itself.

That is awesome, is there a tutorial somewhere you used or made? What is the purpose of dual outputs? Do you need a seperate output for each “eye” ? Or is it just for streaming, etc flexibility?
I don't have a tutorial since i didn't mod it myself. Each output is for each display in the unit because the images are different wich combined create the 3d effect. You only need one output to play on a television. I can make a youtube video about it if anyone is interested.

I got my joyzz controllers today, they work great! one thing though. The receivers work on my master system model 1 but they don't fit all the way into the ports.

Mega EverDrive / Re: A few Mega EverDrive questions

For any official games it doesn't matter.

Just check out the comparison chart on the website. If it's just for playing official mega drive games then the x3 is already good enough. The x7 can run big
size hacks and can playback fm sound for master system games.

Reviews will start pouring in after 10 days or so, the thing was released today and I don't think Krikzz sent review units to youtubers like Super NT did.

@Krikzz
The next big thing in demand is a DS3/DS4 to PS2 bluetooth adapter dongle.

Also, you can use 2.1 edr bluetooth dongles if you use an open pos2 loader version that supports it.
