Boot back to Cartridge Menu?
« on: July 03, 2021, 06:23 PM »
I did a quick search on here and could not locate any threads, though I am sure it has been asked before so apologies for asking again....

Is there an easier/quicker way to get back to the FXPak's cartridge menu screen where one can select a new game?

Understanding this is through the Super Nt menu...
- It seems pressing UP+SELECT, will only reset the cartridge with the current loaded game.
- Also when pressing DOWN+SELECT, it brings me to the Super Nt menu and when selected run cartridge it again loads the current game.

When playing a game (via FXPak), I'd like to be able to return back to the FXPak menu to select a new game.   Is this possible?

Hold the reset button longer than usual to hard-reset to the menu instead of resetting the game.

There is also a soft-reset option which requires you to enable "in-game hooks". In-game hooks are problematic and doesn't work with all games though, so if you use it, remember to disable it if there is a game you want to play that doesn't work correctly when hooks are enabled. I never use it.
