Hey guys, found this one yesterday and was really interested in the fact that it uses a Altera Cyclone V for emulating a whole SNES. Of course we don't need a whole SNES in our case, but the SA-1 is almost identical to a higher clocked SNES CPU and thus I wonder if it would be a idea to ask em for some code supporting the worlds best SNES flash cart getting SA-1 support?

EverDrive 64 / Differences v2, v2.5 and v3
« on: October 11, 2015, 04:10 PM »
If this was already explained somewhere I am very sorry for this thread, but search was not that helpful here.
Can someone explain me the main differences between v2->v2.5 and v2.5->v3? I own a v2 and wonder if a v3 would be worth the money for me ^^

EverDrive N8 / NES ROM sets and the mess with headers/no headers etc
« on: October 11, 2015, 03:57 PM »
Hi, well one question regarding the NES ROM sets I try to get in shape here. Normally I remove all stuff from the files which was added for copiers in the past etc, like the strange copier headers in SNES ROMs etc, today I removed the first 16 bytes of three of my Famicom Disk Images, too to make ROMCenter feeded with a no-into set happy for these, too. Thus I have a completly valid set for FDS, GB, GBC, GBA, N64, SNES, MD, GG, MS, 32x and VB. Now I tried to verify my NES ROM set, too and was... SHOCKED. All ROMs I own (except one Galaxian and two Game Master Kid binaries) are called invalid. So I wonder what of these headers added everywhere is needed at all to run the game. Seems like the iNES header which is added in there is something more special, so I wanted to ask some ppl who know more of these files than I do what to do to get them valid and hopefully keeping useable in the N8. Looks like ignoring the headers somehow is the only way even though many of these headers are a mess and not original Nintendo at all. ( So... HAAALP PLZ ^^
