Sometimes when playing my GBA Everdrive (which for whatever reason is already giving me a warning about the battery has run dry and RTC resets to default; surely it shouldn't be doing that already?) the screen will freeze and turn the screen dim (or even give me the Red Screen of Death) forcing me to reset.  I suspect that it's the Game Boy Player connector's fault and needs to be cleaned.  Problem is, how do you do that without taking it apart (I really am not comfortable with taking it apart if it can at all be avoided).  I'm afraid that one day the dimmed screen of death might happen in the middle of saving a game and cause the save and/or SD card and/or Everdrive cartridge to get ruined 😞  That is why on a disc based console they warn big time not to touch the memory card or power button while saving, right?

Can alternate menu screens (whatever you call them) be done on the NES and Genesis Mega/Everdrives?  Would be nice to have an alternative to their default plain Jane menus :(

I'd be very much interested in this as well but I seem to recall reading that on the NES/Famicom in particular it's not possible because there isn't enough internal memory to generate anything more complicated.

Surely the Mega Everdrive (Genesis) could do that though right?

That fellow seems a bit unrealistic in what money he believes is out there for crowdfunding it.
Really? How much is he asking for?

He need about tree fiddy.  But the important thing is that when Super FX and such support is ready, it's an easy software upgrade and no need to buy new hardware for it right?

How does the old Everdrive GB compare to these new X3/X5/X7 flavors?

Supercard DSTwo's supposed to be the best (3)DS card but I can't get it to work right.  I downloaded the above links and put them in the micro sd card's root directly like I (think) I'm supposed to but I still get that "blue screen of death" :(

Hi, I got a Super DSTwo hoping to use it like an Everdrive for the DSi-XL (I'm not interested in using it on a 3DS because 3DS games would take up too much space on the SD card and won't Nintendo brick your 3DS if they catch you with pirated software on it, like they did for the Pokemon games?).  Anyway, i've tried making this work just like various websites say so but all I get is quite literally a blue screen of death (it reads NO FIND SYSTEM FILES). :(  What am I doing wrong?

I'm not so sure about doing this Everdrive sort of thing for active consoles... (as Jimbo from the South Park flag episode would say)I mean we're not looking to be pirates or steal game sales of active/current games, Everdrives/roms and such are about preserving history!

What else will this latest update fix/update?  I also can't seem to get any of the BS-X Zeldas to work right either :(

I guess the great thing about SD2SNES is that what few flaws it does have in compatibility can easily be fixed via software update. :)

I was just redoing the rosters on Ken Griffey Jr Presents MLB and I tried to start a new season and the game glitched/crashed...what's wrong?

I just got an SD2SNES from the Krikzz shop, and the first thing I did was put the new firmware on. So far, so good. I was just switching between games. It loads games as fast as my Mega Everdrive. But I feel the SD2SNES is more responsive.

The only thing I don't like is the ugly sticker on the cartridge and the graffiti interface theme.  :P

Electronics are like people, it's what's inside that counts ;)

So I recently discovered that the SD2SNES has a soft reset feature where if you hold down L+R+Select and then press X you'll be taken back to the menu screen.  Certainly better than having to reset the "hard way"!  Do the other Everdrives have a soft reset feature of some sort also?

I tried to get a Sega CD a couple of times but both broke down on me (the front loader because a cord was in the way of the disc tray and knocked it out of alignment) and the side car one because it no longer read the discs.  So yes it would be quite nice to run Sega CD ISO's off the Everdrive w/o needing the Sega CD itself, if such a thing can be done.  *sigh* Then again maybe the Sega CD isn't anything that special... :(
