FXPAK (SD2SNES) / Date/Time prompt on boot (Battery Replaced)
« on: August 23, 2020, 11:49 AM »
My sd2snes prompts me for the date/time every time I turned it on.

Replaced the cr2032 with another working battery and didn't work.
Tried a different cr2032 battery and that didn't work. Both were new out of the packaging.
Tried a different sd card adapter, that didn't work.
Tried a different sd card, that didn't work either.

No matter what I do, it still prompts me for the date and time if power is shut off. If power stays on and just a reset happens, it works fine.

I'm using the stock SNES power supply.

Same thing happens in my SNES Junior and my 2 chip.

Had the same problem:

Solved the Super Mario issue by turning off In-Game Hook, In-Game Buttons and Initial Holdoff under Main Menu > Configuration > In-Game Settings.
I won't need these anyway since it's for cheat codes and restarting the console (or game) from the controller.

Also, make sure you're using the No-Intro Sets or a personal dump.

EverDrive N8 / Can't copy save state file to computer
« on: January 31, 2018, 08:22 AM »
Just got my n8 in last week and got it setup with everything I'll need. I completed Rampage tonight (did a save state right on the last level) and then beat the game. Reset console (original nes) and then powered down to backup save file. Windows won't copy the file stating it's not there, even though I'm looking at it.

There seems to be two .. which I suspect is the problem but the N8 has no problems loading or even saving over the file.

I tried again with another game and was able to copy that save state to my computer.

FXPAK (SD2SNES) / sd2snes and frame drops
« on: November 17, 2017, 06:25 AM »
I have the newest sd2snes from krizz using the most recent firmware.

Playing Brainlord, the game slows down a lot whenever in dungeons (esp around rocks and boulders). There was also some slowing down on SMW and some artifacting at the top of the screen during the Iggy fight.

Not sure what the issue could be, using a class 10 card.
