EverDrive N8 / Re: Strange flicker or artifacts with N8 on RetroUSB

Huh, weird. I have that flickering line problem on an original SMB with my AV Famicom. Just got my N8 today so will test it soon.

Shop and Shipping / Re: missing Turbo Everdrive - please help!

Mine shipped out on 11/26 (bought during the Black Friday sales) and I only received the package today. There was a long period of silence after it left Ukraine and the tracking number only started getting updated again a few days ago.

So your parcel is probably still in transit somewhere. I wouldn't worry about it just yet. It's the slow season for global shipping right now. Hope you get it soon though!

They probably shipped yours along with mine (I'm in Malaysia). The arrival date and times of my package in Malaysia matches yours. Funny thing though, I bought something off of Kickstarter from Europe middle of last year and my package was rerouted through Taiwan. I knew this because there was a huge red stamp on my parcel which said "Missent to Taiwan".

Retro Game Supply are known for their great power supplies. I have several power supplies from them, one of which is the one you're interested in and it works absolutely fine. I also use this exact same adapter with my Japanese Super Famicom (with SD2SNES) and AV Famicom (with Everdrive N8) and those consoles work fine too.

and finally ditch the silly Neviksti Star Ocean rom. :P
Wait what's silly about that? (Serious question. I've never played Star Ocean, uncompressed or otherwise.)

Yeah even without SA-1, the SD2SNES's capabilities are really remarkable, especially now that we have an almost perfect Super FX implementation.

This thread is getting off-topic. We should stay on the topic of SuperFX development and not discuss wether you should get a Chinese or OG SD2SNES.
Hear hear. Don't feed the trolls (although I guess I'm guilty of that as well.)

I love my SD2SNES even before redguy added super fx support. It does so much over a super everdrive it's just worth the high cost.

also from the reviews: - SD slot is not spring loaded, so it's a pain to remove it
my chinese one have the spring  :)
My Krikzz-made SD2SNES has a SD card slot that's spring loaded actually.

Looks like V3 fixed the graphics glitches I had in Stunt Race FX. Managed to finish a race. Great job, redguy. Keep it up!

Booted up Starfox 2 just to test this out and ended up finishing the whole bloody game. I've never even got past the second battle before in any of my previous playthroughs and I own a SNES mini! Didn't detect any problems. Some stages seemed slow but honestly I couldn't tell. Worked fine for me!

I love my SD2SNES! Good work Redguy!

News / Re: EverDrive-GB X series approaching

Hold on. So does changing to PSRAM from flash mean if the battery dies, all our saves are gone?

EDIT: oops, I forgot there's also the SD card for saves to be backed up on  ::) My bad

Off Topic / Re: Black Friday

Have anybody that ordered on Black Friday got any info on if their package been sent or something? On my order it says Payment accepted and processing in progress on two places. I'm guessing there are a lot of orders which just means we'll have to wait. Right?
I'm in the same boat as you. My order says payment accepted and processing in progress. I'm guessing from now on it's just a waiting game. There's bound to be a huge amount of orders to be processed and then there's the shipping time which coincides with the christmas rush.

I'm not putting my hopes up so I'm not expecting my brand new SD2SNES before the new year.
