Shop and Shipping / Re: Really disapointed about no shipping to Poland

Retrogate (on resellers list) has the same prices and 8$ shipping. It's also in part of the EU, so no VAT or customs. If you're fast enough, they're having a black friday sale as well.

Yes, they should be ready in nearest days
Small thing not worth a thread of it's own. On the pages of "Rev B" GB-x you forgot to remove the asterisk in console compatibility line.

Great news! So this means I don't have to limit each library to 32MB right? I can have the full libraries in .NES files in a folder?

Shop and Shipping / Shipping question.

Hey, so I noticed you don't ship to Poland ( ).
I have a friend in Norway who is returning to Poland on 21st December. My main question is if I'd order (GBx7) during the black friday, how fast are you dispatching them.

I think sensors might be possible if he can shrink down components, and their locations (and keep it the same size as the x5 or a slightly larger, using the upper exposed portion for the sensors), but rumble pack would might require something even larger. I realize that it wasn't that large on Drill Dozer, but was larger on Warioware Twisted (to also include motion con trolls). There might not be enough space for both features. But if its possible I'd definitely pay for something that had at least light sensors, and rumble.
In that case I think motion controls and rumble and the cut light sensor instead. Only games I know used it are the two Boktai games, though they are great games. On the other hand a photo resistor doesn't seem to take up so much space so it may not be needed to be cut at all. I don't know.
If I had to choose 2 out of those 3 features, it would be light sensor and tilt sensor. Those actually provide ways of playing more games, while the rumble is an additional gimmick that games can be played without (Drill Dozer and WarioWare Twisted can be played perfectly without the rumble, but playing Boktai with spoofed sunlight, and especially WarioWare via using buttons is just not fun).

Only x7 has RTC support. Probably because of how few games actually use it.

Having the RTC functions run off the hours played is hardly ideal.

GBx7 will have RTC, current ETA is end of summer.

Honestly it sounds like you got dirt under the rubber pads of your GBA. Try opening it and cleaning the contact points on the PCB and the black pads on the rubber membrane under the button (cotton swab with some alcohol works).

  • Ability to play GBC games natively (no goomba.gba)
  • A "Favorites" list
The gbc playing isnt possible without an emulator.
Indeed. AFAIK when you put GB / GBC games in an GBA there is a manual switch inside the cartridge port that gets triggered by the diffrent shape of cartridge and the GBA is booted into a diffrent mode, using diffrent parts of the hardware.

I really wonder what GBAx7 will have above x5. Probably no way it will support "special cartridge" features like rumble, tilt sensor or solar sensor.

This sounds fantastic. I think I'll be getting the X7.
Are there plans for new Everdrives for NES, SNES or N64?
May be, at least for snes
Any plans for GBA x7 currently?  :)

EverDrive GBA / GBC RTC

Hello, I am planning to buy a GBA Everdrive soon. My question is, can GBC games use the RTC?
