I just got the Everdrive N8 Pro. Regular NES and Famicom games play great on the AVS but sound effects on FDS games sound off pitch and slowed down. It was the same with the Japanese version of Castlevania. The audio sounded off. Lagrange Point has no music, just sound effects. I was just wondering if these are issues due to me playing on the AVS and if there's any solution. Thanks.

Check the Exp Volume slider in the AVS menu, it may be too low for you to hear the N8 Pro's expansion audio.  Also check the volume levels of the expansion audio chips in the N8 Pro's menu.

Or just use your NES or Famicom. Problem solved.

Yes! That was it. The Exp Volume slider was off. Thank you!
