SPC7110?
« on: September 07, 2020, 04:32 AM »
Besides its appearance in in MISTer... any news of it getting port to SD2SNES/FXPak Pro, anytime soon? It's been a year since it was last brought up or so as far as I know... As I understand it it works well with Far East of Eden on MISTer already... also the developers who translated Super Monsters Shell Story are also sitting on a fisnished translation of the sequel too for some reason, perhaps waiting for flashcarts compatibility to catch up?

I second this. Man I've been wanting to play Far East on real hard ware ever since the translation came out. I personally can't stand using emulation because I'm very aware I'm playing on a computer and nothing beats an original SNES controller.
All I wanna do is shred.

I'm also hoping for this. No word on it though.

According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_NES_enhancement_chips) Daikaijuu Monogatari II doesn't use SPC7110, but S-RTC which is already supported and used by the OS rom.

Here is hoping our great heroes redguy, redacted or magno smile down on us peasants and decided to try to port SRG320's FPGA code into the SD2Snes  :D ;D

I have the Mister already but nothing beats playing on original hardware, super game boy included. These guys all deserve patreon donations.

I was actually thinking of Momotaro Dentetsu Happy (mixed the two up)... Looks interesting, some kind of weird board game?

Still, that does't explain why Daikaijuu Monogatari II's translation is being sat upon if its finished... Cause we all could be playing it already...

They're not "sitting on it", its heavily bugged and they haven't been able to fix it.

The Momotarou Dentetsu series is a boardgame spinoff of Hudson's Momotarou Densetsu RPG series. "Densetsu" means legend and "dentetsu" means electric railway, Momotarou is a hero in a Japanese folklore tale.

The latest Momotarou Dentetsu game recently came out on the Nintendo Switch.
