Does this card work with the Coregrafx and Coregrafx2 consoles?

Awesome, thanks. Another question. I see many versions of TG-16 on eBay. I want to get a USA model and also work with the Turbo Everdrive v2 which model do you recommend?

You're welcome. I recommend not getting a TurboGrafx-16, and instead getting a CoreGrafx or CoreGrafx II, as they're a lot less expensive. If you want to be able to play CD games, I recommend getting a PC Engine Duo, Duo R, or Duo RX. If you get a Duo, be sure to get it recapped first. Keith Courage on the PCEngineFX forums sells refurbished consoles and provides good service. Regarding which version of the Turbo Everdrive, I have a v1, which suits my needs, but if you get a v2, I'd recommend getting the newest version, v2.5, though I don't have experience with it myself.

Finally got around to buying a Core Grafx from eBay yesterday, so now I look forward to playing with this.

There is  a switch on the cart. Make sure it's set to PCE, not TG-16.

I tried the switch in both positions and both gave me a white screen still.

I've had a white screen on my Core Grafx before.  Make sure all of your connections are clean.  I had dirty contacts.  My TED works just fine.

I just sent my TED back today for a replacement. I did try a couple HU cards and they all booted up fine. I did notice when I put the switch to TG16 it does nothing and a white screen, but when I switch it to PCE I can hear a brief static sound on the TV like it's trying to do something so I think the contacts are being made. When I get it back and still have problems I will take your advice but my questions are:

1. How do you take the core grafx apart to clean the contacts? Any websites showing how to disassemble?
2. Do you use alcohol to clean the contacts or what do you recommend?

Thanks.

Do you have another console to test it?
Use isopropyl alcohol (or something alike) to clean the contacts.

Unfortunately I don;t have another PCE or TG16 to test or anyone around here that does so I had to send it back. I have a 9V 650ma adapter which is the original adapter for the Core Grafx will that be enough power to use with the TED?

The standard power supply is ok.
After we receive your device we will see what was wrong.

We haven't received it yet.
It's just needed a bit of time for your package to reach us.
Typically we receive packages from your country in about 2 weeks.

Oooops I sent it back to Stoneagegamers since that's where I bought it from and thought you are form there. They received my package last Saturday.

The Everdrive works great on my PCE Duo-R, but when I tried using it in a recently purchased CoreGrafx system it would not boot to the menu. The CoreGrafx works fine with official PCE HuCards, but not this EverDrive.

EverDrive V2.2 -  - 21.02.2015

PCE CoreGrafx 05105593b - PI-T63

Someone suggested I try cleaning the card slot, and after doing that I was able to see something on the screen,

Black screen white system font in the center of the screen, "error: C1"

I took the MicroSD card out (SanDisk 1gb) and tried again, and then I got a new screen, grey with a film strip style box at the top containing the text " Turbo-ED bootloader
Error: C0"

In the center of the screen in white text "SD card not found" (expected)

At the bottom it says
2015 krikzz Turbo-ED-v2 SN:008f

After reinserting the MicroSD card I am able to get to the file selection menu of the everdrive, but every game I choose (240p test suit, gunhed, blazing Lazers, bonk, and the same game the official card I tried that was working salamander) results in a black screen. The reset button on the EverDrive then works, but no games will load.

The AC adapter I am using is NEC model PAD-105
91-31373
Wakayanagi
Input ac100v 50/60hz 12va
Output dc 9v 650mA
Does anyone have any ideas of what to change/try?
