On my side i have loaded Quake1 rom and ED64 did not seem to load it. All i got was a black screen and i had to reset que N64.

Maybe it is the rom ? The rom name is: Quake 64 (U) [!].z64

Anyone here knows if its the rom itself ?

The rom came from this pack i downloaded about 2 years ago: Nintendo 64 Collection 308 Roms Vol 1 of 3 H33T 1981CamaroZ28
                                                                                                    Nintendo 64 Collection 308 Roms Vol 2 of 3 H33T 1981CamaroZ28
                                                                                                    Nintendo 64 Collection 308 Roms Vol 3 of 3 H33T 1981CamaroZ28

Any inputs ?

EverDrive 64 / Re: Improved Menu System Requested with my help!

This is a good idea. I hope this project gets done.

But for now example: the wallpapers must be 640x480 16bits, witch means the quality is not "HD" ....

Is it even possible to make the ED64 show good quality menu and picture without the "pixel issue" ????

Thx Now just got to wait for them stickers !!!

I will probably paint the console to, Might paint it black with Gold dots, (dots like on the cart)

And i will use a blinding glossy clear on it. Gonna make the eyes bleed hahaha.

But yeah overall this project is going good.

Play some Zelda between each paint coat :P :P

Here are some close-ups of the cart. Keep it mind its nor perfect, the work is only 25% done on it.
Still have the paint, stickers, adjustments etc etc.

And what sort of diagnostics that N64 test cart would do ?
PS: my cart looks way better then that test cart :P :P :P

So here is my First quick test, i did alot of tweaking inside the cart...I will show some more pics when it is totally done.

For now enjoy this test version of the cart i am doing.

(Edit)

I took this picture while loading a rom.
And i did not solder anything on the board.
The light looks bright cuz i have installed a little Acrylic button in the hole i drilled up in front of the light on the board.

PS: i took the acrylic button off my old computer. The one for the Floppy disk.

Got my rotary tool ready, paint is ready, cart is crying to me to be opened.
Just waiting on the Tool to open the cart.

Like i said i got my ED64 and just notice this little red LED lights that shows the ED64 loading roms.

Maybe i will drill a tinny hole on the front of the cart in front of that little LED and put a Acrylic button in there to expose that little light.

What do you think is it too much ? or it could be a nice add-on ? :)

I can`t seem to find proper wallpapers for it tho. I have been looking there is a wallpaper pack. But i get send to broken Links :(

I have been messing around with Paint.Net to save wallpapers in .bmp format with 640x480 Res and i got no luck getting them to work on the ED64....

Maybe u guys have a Link for the wallpapers ?

Well that lame replica from ED64Plus really looks like crap. The board looks sooo Cheap...

And the damn things got the same chip placement and all. Plus they did not install CIC on there piece of crap.

Them poor people getting ripped off by those guys.........

Anyways i am soon to be proud owner of V2 EverDrive64 Original from Krikzz !!!!!! Can`t wait to get it :D :D :D :D :D :D

Krikzz slap on the EverDrive sum GameShark codes that would be nice eh ?

Only thing i would change with the Everdrive64 would be Micro SD slot. Cuz once all the stuff is on the sdcard no need to take it out !!!!
Or maybe Integrated 8Gig memory with Usb port to upload the data on it ?

What would be realy cool is for NES and SNES roms to run on ED64 ( i know then u will not sell Super ED) but still could be cool.
