Great explanation Krikzz.
Yep, that what you get when you use a mini/micro USB plug to power a device that needs some current AND flat 5v on load.
The big on board 3.3v LDOs (regulators) need at least 1.2-1.5v above 3.3v... so at least 4.5v under load.
I would avoid mini/micro usb for power and use a standard barrel plug,, but AVS and Analogue just loves them.
And no, a mobile phone does not need flat 5v for charging, it will charge just fine with 4v.

Yes, I confirm that some codes do not work.
Also, seems like the N8 "injects" the codes slower and not every frame.

Cheat work perfectly fine here with v1.20.
Select the game with "Select Only",,, press 'select' button on controller,,, enter cheats,,, press 'start' button on controller to run game with cheats.

A small OS bug report.
When first booting the console and selecting the Cheat menu without selecting a game first, the ED will freeze.

I'm putting extra care for VRC6 and Sunsoft-5B since Akumajou Densetsu and Gimmick are the gems of external audio on the Famicom.
These will (already) sound within 0.5db of the original cartridges, where average human hearing can detect 1db in good studio conditions.
Actually, I'm putting extra care for all of them so the default presets will sound great for even hardcore enthusiasts, like myself.
I have most cartridges by I'm also relying on this excellent source for Gimmick (av modded original famicom + original Gimmick):

Excellent.
I'm working currently on perfecting the balance of external audio with AV Famicom and Original Famicom for the N8 Pro that will match the original cartridges.
It will be ready sometime this weekend.
I can say that the quality of this thing is astonishing, no boot problems, super fast.
I'm having fun.

It has been said a million times in this thread to not use RC7 because it has wrong MMC3 tuning.
Use RC6.

make sure your sd card is not locked, there is a lock slider on the side of the sd card.

Understand, it is a business and bottom line is numbers talk.
He doesn't care for a few complaints, he sells hundreds flashcarts a day with very few returns, and that's all that matters.
On twitter he can promote new products with pretty pictures to generate more sales even if the marketing is questionable,, here on the forum he has to 'support' the true functionality of his products.
Obviously one is more appealing than the other...

Not to say something controversial, but I think krikzz's priority is to SELL his products,, he's not even posting on the forum anymore,, it's all on twitter.
The usual support here is "try a different sd card" is completely unacceptable for 100-200$ products.
