Title: FX PAK Pro broken?
Post by: daly on May 10, 2021, 06:27 PM
I recently purchased a Super NT and the FXPAK PRO from everdrive.me. I can't get the sd2snes started. All i get is a black screen.
I have updated both to the latest firmware (SuperNt: v5.0 / FxPak: 1.10.3). I created a seperate folder (named roms) next to the sd2snes system folder in the root of the sd card and placed my roms there.

I already searched the forum for this problem and tried out:
- cleaned the contacts of cardridge and sd-cards
- used 4 different sd cards
- use older firmwares of SuperNt and FXPAK Pro
- boot directly to card ridge in combination with boot delays from 0 - 4 seconds
- changed speed of sd-card
- used pal and ntcs region
- removed controller before system start

I noticed that sometimes the red error led of the cardridge blinks 9 times.

I also executed the sd3snes diagnostic firmware which gave me this result:
Code: [Select]
===log opened===

SD test... please insert card

Does this mean i purchased a broken module? Thank you very much.

Possibly, I think you should contact the seller.
