EverDrive GB / Everdrive X series and new additional mappers
« on: June 11, 2017, 10:09 PM »
What would difficulty to add support for at least HuC3 mapper for Robopon... Granted it wouldn't have access to the speaker or IR, but that feature was more or less useless anyways.

It would also be nice to get support for the Wisdom Tree and other 'unlicensed' games....

It would be nice if it could have MBC7 with accelerometer, but that's just wishful thinking...

EverDrive GBA / Gamecube to GBA Game Link Cables

Is Everdrive GBA compatible with the GC to GBA Link cables?

EverDrive GB / Japanese GB and GBC (English friendly)
« on: December 07, 2016, 01:41 AM »
Any good games that are Japanese "only" but still have English text (or doesn't require English to understand the game and still have fun), or has a fan translation?

One example is Ninja Spirit for the original Gameboy. As far as I can tell all the menus and level screens are in 'english' but the game was never released to English speaking audiences.

EverDrive GB / Toshiba MicroSD 4 gb
« on: November 25, 2016, 09:05 PM »
I'm thinking of recycling an unused 4gb toshiba microsd that came with my '''New''' Nintendo 3DS.  Is that at a good model and will it work well with the EDGB? Normally I use Sandisk and Kingston microsds.

EverDrive GBA / Home brew games?

Anyone have a list of homebrew games that will work on EDGBA?

EverDrive GB / EDGB compatibility list
« on: November 25, 2016, 03:20 AM »

I wonder if there is anyway to make the EDGB work with some of the games with strange mappers with a firmware update or rom patches?

I'd be most interested in Robopon and the Wisdom tree games.

EverDrive GB / Zelda Oracle Series (Advance Shop)

On the EDGB, will a GBA detect Zelda Oracle Games allow access to Advance Shop feature in the games?

EverDrive GBA / Save detection issue
« on: November 08, 2016, 05:34 AM »
So, I was doing some file organizing, on the SD. I accidently moved the 'gbasys' folder inside another folder.

I didn't notice it, and this obviously caused the EDGBA to think there was no bios in the GBA. I couldn't find where what happened to the GBASys folder, and I thought maybe I had accidently deleted. So I created a new GBASYS folder.

However, I later found where the missing folder ended up to. I tried copying my old saves back over. But the games don't seem be able to read them. From its perspective inside the games have no saves. It gives me the option to start new games, and far as I know the save options work fine. It just creates a new save.

But is there anyway to make it load and older save?

Howe do you back up saves, if this situation can happen?

EverDrive GBA / GBA and DS linked games
« on: November 06, 2016, 04:10 PM »
So the answer to this question is probably 'no'.

But does Everdrive GBA work with the cross-linked GBA games DS?

The few games where if you stuck in a GBA cart the DS game would detect it and give you extra features in the DS game? One of the early DS Castlevania games had that feature and it would unlock some extra items in the game.

Then of course Boktai games and Lunar Knights would link up (but this was only to add 'solar support' features, so would be irrelevant to discussion of flashcarts that lack solar technology).

Does the GBA Everdrive let you set up a way for the DS games to detect the GBA game through the everdrive?

If not, are there any other flash drive options that might allow for the cross-linking?

On a related note if you have Everdrive GB, and load up Zelda Oracle games on a GBA will the game detect the GBA to load up the Advance Shops?

EverDrive GBA / Top Gun: Combat Zones
« on: November 06, 2016, 03:28 AM »
Don't know if its just an issue with this particular game, or problems with roms

I've tried several version of the rom, and this one seems to load fine, and I can move around the start menu with the directional pad.

But for some reason 'a' button doesn't seem to be making selections in the menu. So there doesn't appear to be a way into the game, settings etc.

Otherwise I haven't seen any other weird behavior with any other games so far.

Off Topic / RTC GB/GBC Flashcart (BennVenn)
« on: October 22, 2016, 09:37 PM »

I guess BeenVenn has been discussing making a GB/GBC flashcart with a RTC built in. But he wants to make it "USB" rather than MicroSD. Maybe if that ever comes out it will be incentive for Krikzz to come out with his version as well?

Could Everdrive, etc, be programmed to use the gyro sensor in this SD Card for Yoshi's Topsy Turvy?
