NEO GEO on N64 - MVS64

This emulator is in VERY EARLY STAGE. Only a handful of games boot or work.

Performance on N64 is still not very good, most games do not run at full frame rate yet.

Sound is not emulated yet.

This is very interesting, and will be a great addition to the N64's library. But aren't most Neo Geo game rom sizes too large to be contained (along with the emulator) in the N64's RAM? Are you planning to stream the game data from the Everdrive 64's SD drive, or just emulate the roms that are 6MB or less?

No doubt, this would be great news.

Certainly you will need a chd cache file complementing the rom to load, just like what happens to run neogeo games on psp and neogeo games larger than 23mb on nintendo wii.

WTF?!

Wow.

Suddenly I'm reminded of the Neo Geo emulator written for the original DS back in the day - another system that had ZERO business trying to run AES/MVS titles mainly because of lack of RAM and CPU power. But due to some incredible optimisation and tricks (including having a specific Neo Geo romset effectively recompiled for the emulator using a custom tool) it worked really well, especially for the time.

I fully support this madness.

Good questions, but I can't answer.
Unfortunately I'm not the dev, I just shared
