Buying an Everdrive shipped to Europe?
« on: November 27, 2019, 11:08 PM »
Can't we no longer buy directly from Krikzz? Everdrive.me is apparently a reseller, I thought I would be able to buy in Euros and use Paypal but those aren't an option. If dollars is the only option I can't know for sure how much will I pay and am not even confident I won't be hit with fees from my bank.

Where do you buy from, now, if you're in Europe?

As I understand, the Krikzz.com store and now Everdrive.me are also dealers. We never bought "directly" from Krikzz.
For the exchange rate EUR->USD you can get an approximate depending on the transaction date, this varies with your card issuer.
You can contact the website handlers https://everdrive.me/information/contact-us.html and perhaps ask them to enable the EUR currency.
Here you can see the list of dealers, some of them sell in EUR https://krikzz.com/store/content/6-dealers
WELCO
METOT
HENEX
TLEVEL

As far as I understand it years ago krikzz did kind of sell directly through the Retrogate store (Site was owned by someone else who took and processed payment, but IIRC the everdrive's themselves came straight from krikzz or members of his team) but the Retrogate site was eventually taken over and ran by someone else once krikzz started selling directly on the main krikzz.com site.

Krikzz said on twitter:-

Which I guess means that the store, payment, dispatch and distribution etc have always been handled by members of his team rather than krikzz personally.

Retrogate (and Krikzz.com?) did used to offer paypal as an option, but a a few years ago the stores paypal account was locked/frozen since EverDrive's apparently violate paypal policies, so they can no longer accept paypal as a payment method:-

Orders continued to be accepted on the main krikzz.com website with payment by card up until this past year when they started having issues with the sites card processor. Last I heard krikzz was still trying to setup a new card processor and hoped to have it up and running sometime next year.

In the mean time the retailer with the closest connections to krikzz is the everdrive.me store, as krikzz acknowledged on twitter:-
