Does the 8bitdo receiver even use ZL and ZR for anything?
Yes, it mimics L & R respectively.

Definitely waiting for TED CD as well.
Rondo on PCGT is an old dream (even mono..) !

FXPAK (SD2SNES) / Re: Super EverDrive x bootloader on new FXPak Pro
« on: September 18, 2021, 11:43 PM »
Is it possible that I got a Super Everdrive mislabeled as an FXPak Pro?

Would a dying / dead CR1220 3v cell inside the cartridge be a likely cause for this?
I wouldn't be surprised if it is just down to an overdue battery replacement..
Yes, new battery needed.

I haven't used my sd2snes (rev f) in a few years, and now today trying to boot now shows black screen. No other snes to test sd2snes. I see verified seller no longer affiliated :( Diagnostic results:

Any ideas how to fix?
It seems like it's your SNES that went bad though.

Turbo EverDrive / Re: Turbo Everdrive 2.5 Error D7 & F3
« on: June 30, 2021, 09:42 PM »
likely the device has loaded so many it's maxed itself out so the list of what games it remembered needs to be deleted.
oh my..

- Copy SD to PC, format SD, copy back to SD.
- Clean contacts with Alcohol / IPA.
- Remove - insert a couple times.
Good luck.

EverDrive GB / Re: X7 - Cart button doesn't work very often
« on: June 06, 2021, 08:03 PM »
Where is the button as it is covered by a label and as I have been doing that for years without risk my opinion is still valid.
yeah keep doing it, you'll eventually break your hardware, lose saves, way to go.
There's a reason manufacturers put locks in the first place, this discussion is absolutely ridiculous.

How's' it irrelevant?
Flaw is on SD2SNES, not SNES.

Ok, so of course passing the nintendo check with test rom is absolutely irrelevant to the subject of this thread.

The failing RAM0 test occurs on the SD2SNES itself. Either the chip died or some contacts around it got bad (happened to me on RAM1 actually).

At the time Ikari told me a few points around the chip I should check for good contacts and resoldering a certain leg did the trick.

Op come to Discord to ask Ikari directly, he'll tell you where you should check based on your SD2SNES revision.

Joyzz / Re: Joyzz PCB in Original shell ?
« on: February 14, 2021, 09:47 AM »
At the moment i have plans to sell as DIY only 3 button version.
Have you given more thoughts to this idea @Krikzz ?

I put the Joyzz PCB into one of these shells -
I had to do the modifications that Krikzz mentioned above but it fits perfectly. Did you ever try it?
This is a good idea but I'm more interested in a DIY PCB + original shell.

Already requested :)

That doesn't mean much. You computer isn't a SNES. Try the no-intro rom. Don't patch it yet, try the clean rom first.

Sorry for not being totally clear; by "both revisions" I meant both revisions of the original, unpatched rom for FF3 ( commonly named "Final Fantasy III (USA).sfc" and "Final Fantasy III (USA) (Rev 1).sfc") in addition to the romhacks thereof. That said, I'm not sure what you mean by "no-intro" rom (pardon my greenness with this stuff). If that means something other than an unpatched rom, then I don't know what it means.
Verify your roms are ok by comparing their checksum with known good dumps.

Is This a clone cartridge? I bought as original here in Brazil  >:(
Whydid you say is dead? There is some method to revive it?  :-\

1. Format using this tool:

2. Try older firmwares:
