How do .savs, .srms, and .rtc differ?
« on: June 08, 2021, 10:33 PM »
Sooo I tried looking it all up here and I get the basics but I'm trying to get my old pokemon trading card game srm to the everdrive gb x7 and it never loads it. I have to start a fresh game each time. I went through the daughting task of starting a new one in hopes of transferring and overwriting it with my new one but it was a no go! Anyone help me out? I want to do this with my old pokemon saves too!

Try finding a code that enables a dubug mode that allows you to get all the stuff you acquired and where you left off at then save a game state and continue where you felt like you wanted to.

Try the SRM file in an emulator and check if they work in the first place. I don't know about the X7, but the older EDGB used raw save files which also works in emulators as is. You may have to rename them to .sav though.
