You need the latest version of Avra (or at least version 1.3.0) to compile it.

As i dont know which base CIC you need, i attached every single one...

Edit: One last question, I have an Everdrive 64 v2.01 and an UltraPIF modified N64. Which UltraCIC-III should I use? At the moment, the Everdrive 64 has the UltraCIC-II installed and doesn’t work, till I switch „Use Rom CIC” Mode to „no”.

New Update Released:

Update notes:
-Fixed GB RTC. Known bugs are fixed, but it is not well tested. See readme.txt.
-Updated initial WAV RAM values to match a SGB2.
-Fixed end of frame line match interrupt.
-Added extra line of OAM interrupt.
-Fixed problem with hidden sprites still getting rendered.
-Fixed some cases of partially flashing scanlines by masking OAM LUT reads/writes when DMA is active.
-Fixed interrupt related problems by rewriting STAT interrupt generation logic. Removed hack where OAM interrupt was masked using sprite disable flag.

Hi, I have a problem with my Otaku’s-Store N64 Region-Free Mod v2 and my Everdrive 64 v2. Every time I’m trying to load Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye or Donkey Kong 64, I’ll get the „Error 0XE1”. If I run the self test, I’ll get an „Error 01” on „EEP” and it hangs up on „SD1”. My Everdrive 64 has a UltraCIC II locked to PAL. All original NTSC and PAL games I have, work fine and without a problem. The problems with the Everdrive 64 doesn’t appear on an unmodified N64.

Would be great if someone could help me  ;D


Cx4 is also built-in as of v0.1.7pre1 :) The cx4.bin file only contains some non-copyrightable math lookup tables so it was embedded into the FPGA configuration.

This is really cool, I love it to play Banjo hacks! Banjo-Kazooie is my favourite N64 game. Got it on Christmas 1998 and played it a lot with my dad. Good times!

Hi, I have a non Pro too. The Pro and non Pro uses the same bios files.


“The headerless BS-X BIOS is required for running BS games. Rename it as ‘bsxbios.bin’ and put it in the sd2snes directory.
For DSPx / ST0010 support you need the DSP ROM dumps:


You also need the Cx4.bin for some Mega Man Games. SuperFX (GSU) and SA-1 are build into the Firmware.

Edit: S-DD1 is also build in.


Brand new ED64 X7 arrived from Stone Age Gamer yesterday. It worked great for about 30 - 60 minutes. I hit the reset button on the N64, then I got this error.

ERROR:14 “Unsupported OS version. OS update required”

Every time I start up, I get that same error. I can’t find any info on that specific error. (I was playing an NES game, when I hit reset, if that matters.)

Any info would be very much appreciated.

I tried:
-2 different SD cards (the first one works fine in Everdrive GBA X5)
-reformatted both cards
-downloaded the OS package again -
-removed and replaced the Everdrive into the N64 several times
-used other carts in the N64 with no problems (original Nintendo controller)

Hi there, if nothing helps, you should try to contact the Krikzz or the SAG support for help. SAG is an official dealer from Krikzz, so there should no problems, if it is a faulty unit.

Hi, last year I bought a defective Ninja Warriors. After opening the shell, I’ve seen that the pcb was broken. So I bought Barkley Shut Up And Jam and switched the pcb’s. Ninja Warriors worked again but now I have the Barkley roms laying around.

My idea now is, stacking the two Barkley roms on a single Maskrom pcb. I know that there must be a 74LS00 somewhere between the roms, but I don’t know where.

I know that Barkley isn’t the best game, but I have some SVHC-1A0N boards that I don’t need anymore.

Can somebody help me on getting this game working?

Well some good news... its not the cart!

I was able to pull out my Super Famicom to test and it works fine... So the question is what is causing the issue on my NA SNES.

I tested all the capacitance of every cap and they are all fine. I can replace them all but I would rather not since I don't have SMD style Caps on hand for this if its a one off I don't mind redoing it.

Does anyone know what Cap maybe causing the issue? It appears to only happen on some types of graphics so I would assume its power not reaching the SD2SNES for one of its chips to display things correctly.


Hi, have you already tried the “SD2SNES diagnostic firmware” or the “SNES Burn In / Test Rev.D Rom”?

Edit: On an NTSC SNES, you should always run NTSC Roms! PAL Roms can course such problems. If your SNES is modded, it should run all regions games without problems.

Ah, i may just stick with the Prototype then if its the full game..
I've been giving it a go and the only big downside is audio issues, seems to be really low volume
been trying to fix it up in Retroarch but i can't seem to.

Hi, I don’t know exactly anymore, but look in the Options. I have the Prototype on Cartridge, and you have to set the volume manually higher. I think the volume is set to the lowest.

The same problem as v20 os for n8,for some its working,for others not.
Strange,verry strange.
I just copied full sd2snes 1.10.1 on my sdcard as also all the other files,still error 09.
I give up,something is wrong,all other games are working,its just that bsx is not working.

you use the firmware latest 1.10.1 on your old sd2snes ?

I’m using the 1.10.1 on my Rev. H without problems.
