Is it possible to access the in game menu via some means other than clicking the cartridge?
If not, would such a thing be possible to add via a firmware update?

EverDrive GBA / Feature request : Gmashark Code support
« on: May 14, 2019, 01:55 PM »
Yeah I know you can patch the ROMs on your PC, but who wants to piss about like that every time?
Is there any chance of Gameshark code support being added, like many other Everdrives have, Krikzz?

EverDrive N8 / Game Genie codes save?
« on: January 04, 2018, 07:20 AM »
Hi there,

Is there any chance that when you enter GG codes in the menu, the ED could save them to a text file (so you don't have to enter them every time), like the Mega Everdrive does?

I know you can manually make a cheat text file on your computer but I much prefer doing it on the console rather than having to faff about with computers and memory cards each time.

Mega EverDrive / Dump CD bios using Everdrive X7?
« on: August 27, 2017, 05:40 PM »
This is really aimed at krikzz, but info from anyone would be great.

Is there any way to use the Everdrive usb port to dump the bios from a cd unit?

Krikzz, did you make any tools that can do this?

I need to dump the bios from my Wondermega M2 and I don't want to remove the actual bios chip.

Thanks guys.

Turbo EverDrive / Can TED be used as Tennokoe Bank?
« on: May 16, 2017, 12:40 PM »
Sorry if this has been asked before, but is anyone aware of a way to use the TED like a Tennokoe Bank to backup BRAM saves and such to the sd card?
You can load the ROM of the Tennokoe Bank and it navigates fine, but obviously doesn't actually work as it should.

Just thought this would be handy  :D

EverDrive GBA / The Great LED poll!
« on: September 13, 2016, 03:15 PM »
Mine is green.
Shadow666 mentioned that his was red. This just made me wonder if anyone has any other colours.
A bit silly, I know, but it's just for fun  :)

Off Topic / Everdrive GBA e.t.a. In KRIKzz store?
« on: June 30, 2016, 06:11 PM »
Hi KRIKzz

I'd rather buy the Everdrive GBA from here than go to stone age or elsewhere.

When can we expect to see it in the store here?

Mega EverDrive / Mega CD 32X compatibility?
« on: November 12, 2015, 10:39 PM »
Hi folks,

Been using my Mega ED v2 for mega cd games for a while now and it's gone without problem.
This morning I got my first CD 32X game, Night Trap and after I select the bios file, I get the Sega cd splash screen, followed by sonic throwing his magic pixie dust, then it just sits on a black screen.
Do I need a special bios or something?

I have the full set up before anyone asks :-)
Mega drive 1, Mega CD 2 and 32X, all Japanese.
MD has region switch and it's set to USA.

Mega EverDrive / Mega ED v2 Mega CD ram cart capacity.
« on: November 04, 2015, 04:39 PM »
Howdy folks!

Been using the mega ED v2 with my mega cd for a while now and it works flawlessly.
My question is this:

Is there any way to make the virtual ram cart bigger?
It emulates the original one perfectly, including its capacity, but there are now ram carts available that have over 8000 pages, which I believe is the maximum that the mega cd can address.
It would be cool if the mega ED could simulate a cart of this capacity.

Mega EverDrive / Mega Everdrive v2 games resetting/crashing
« on: September 01, 2015, 04:44 PM »
Hi guys/KRIKzz  :)

I recently got my MEv2 from retrotowers and I've been having problems...
My setup is the following:
Original PAL Mega Drive with region mod switch (normally set to US NTSC)
Full set of US ROMs, all pure .bin rips.
Latest FW on Everdrive.

My problems is that some games (usually larger, more modern games) will only play for a few minutes before either resetting themselves back to the Sega splash screen or locking up completely and requiring a reset.

Games I have had this issue on include Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Contra Hardcorps, Streets of Rage 3 (I also tried BK3 and same result), Beyond Oasis, Thunder Force 4 and quite a few others.
I doubt that they are all corrupted. The issue doesn't happen in the same place each time either.
I have tried with Megakey on and off, in game menu on and off and the issue still happens.

Have I got a dodgy Everdrive?

Thanks guys.
