Just got my MED Pro and immediately ran into problems. Loaded up Virtua Racing. Selecting a regular game works but Free Run doesn't. If you choose Free Run it hangs. Have to cycle power to get back to the menu. KRIKzz could you please take a look?

Mega EverDrive / Ys III MSU-MD audio tracks out of order
« on: August 22, 2020, 03:37 AM »
@KRIKzz
There is a problem with the MSU-MD patch for Ys III. The audio tracks play in the wrong order. See https://www.zeldix.net/t1993-ys-iii-wanderers-from-ys-md
Note that this is not a cue file problem. You can use the exact same CUE and WAV files as the MD+ version and they play out of order using the MSU-MD patched ROM.
Specifically, Track 02 13 20 23 24 26 27 28 29 30 will all play Track 31 on MEGA EVERDRIVE PRO.
Please investigate and fix.

Thank you

EverDrive N8 / N8 Pro expansion audio
« on: January 10, 2020, 09:23 PM »
Hi all,

I'm using a N8 Pro with an AV Famicom. My question concerns expansion audio. The AVF has the Hi-Def NES mod which supports expansion chips but I understand N8 Pro does as well. Which should I be using? I know in the Hi-Def NES menu the audio chips must be manually enabled. What about N8 Pro? Must you do anything to activate them or should it just work?

Thanks,
mario

FXPAK (SD2SNES) / Game select menu
« on: April 06, 2019, 12:39 AM »
Hi all,

I'm using a rev H SD2SNES with firmware 1.10.1 and just noticed something odd (I think). Perhaps I am remembering wrong but when you click to select your game wasn't there a pop-up window which allows entering cheat codes, per-game options, etc? I'm not see it anymore. It just goes straight into the game. I cleared the config and tested again. Same issue. Is this a bug?

Thanks,

Mega EverDrive / CD RAM cart issue
« on: November 11, 2018, 01:06 AM »
Need some help please. I have a Mega Everdrive X7 in use with a Sega CDX. The problem is with the RAM backup feature. For example, when I first load Shining Force CD it tells me the backup RAM needs to be formatted. I do this then the game loads fine. I press the reset button to "save" the RAM cart but it never works. Every single time I power up the CDX and play Shining Force I have to format the RAM backup cart again. What's the trick to getting the format to stick after power down?

Anyone know how to get this rom hack to work on the Everdrive 64? On mine it just hangs after you click to start it. Shame too. It looks incredible

FXPAK (SD2SNES) / Shipping to USA
« on: February 28, 2016, 05:42 AM »
Anyone have recent experience with shipping to USA? My SD2SNES shipped on Feb 1st and still hasn't arrived. Interestingly, I ordered a Famicom N8 about a week later and already received it. I'm very concerned my SD2SNES is lost in the mail somewhere. USPS is notoriously untrustworthy  :(

Off Topic / Shipping time to USA
« on: January 01, 2016, 06:47 PM »
Hi All,

On 12/18 I ordered an Everdrive 64 v3 and a Megadrive v2. I received a tracking # and it shows it left Ukraine on 12/25. Problem is, I have no way to track the package now. Anyone know how long it usually takes for these things to arrive in USA?

Thanks
