FXPAK (SD2SNES) / [SOLVED] Super Scope + SD2SNES not supported?
« on: December 10, 2018, 04:41 AM »
Hey guys! Just tried to use my Super Scope with the SD2SNES and got some issues.

Although it works perfectly fine with the original carts, the Super Scope goes completely crazy with games in SD2SNES. The main issues are loss of aim precision and input lag in some cases.

Does someone plays with Super Scope and SD2SNES without issues? Isn't there any turnaround?

EverDrive 64 / Does 64 gb SDXC cards work with Everdrive 64?
« on: November 29, 2018, 08:08 PM »
I know that the Everdrive 64 officially only supports SD and SDHC cards, but is there any chance of 64 gb cards work with it?

Hello everyone!

The comunity of SD2SNES users became ultra-excited since yesterday, because a man called Redguy came from nowhere and released a beta implementation for the Super FX chip, and now it's possible to play roms that require that chip.

My question is: could be possible to make such kind of implementation to run SVP games (a.k.a. Virtua Racing) on the Mega Everdrive (at least on X7)? Could X7's hardware handle this kind of implementation through firmware update like the SD2SNES?

Hello everyone! I want to purchase an Everdrive N8, but with the grey cartridge. How can I choose that when ordering?

I'm seeying a lot of complaints about cartridge color from buyer's reviews. Everyone is expecting to receive their Everdrive N8 in a grey cartridge, but are receiving a translucent red instead.

EverDrive 64 / [Solved] Issues with translated roms
« on: November 25, 2016, 10:27 PM »
Hi everyone! Does the Everdrive 64 v3 has issues with translated roms?

I'm trying to play a Zelda Ocarina of Time rom with translation patch to portuguese (my language), and the game is showing some text glitches in some dialogues and eventually crashing at some point of the game.

EverDrive 64 / How to remove rom regional code protection?
« on: October 13, 2016, 07:26 PM »
Hello everyone! I have a brazilian PAL-M Nintendo 64 (which has the same resolution and refresh rate of NTSC, but uses the PAL colors).

In this console version, every single USA rom works flawlessly (apparently, PAL-M works the same way as NTSC, but need PAL-M TVs in order to show colors)
BUT... Lots of japanese roms doesn't work at all! A very few japanese roms runs ok (e.g. Wave Race 64 - Shindou Edition), but others like Bomberman 64 Arcade edition and Tsumi no Batsu (Sin and Punishment shows up with black screen. Finally, Doubutsu no Mori (Animal Forest) shows the following message after loading: "This game is not designed for use on this system".

So, is there any way to hack or patch the japanese roms in order to remove any region-lock code? I use Everdrive 64 v3 with Ultra Cic II.
