Just do a forum search ;-p but will be on the first 3 pages for sure...

Because loading the emulator does not use save_db, at least in 2.12 as it is hard coded... you can try it for yourself to confirm. I have added the correct sram settings in my unofficial official os in the meantime (see the changelog).

Setting the save_db wont work for this. It will have to come in the form of a menu update from krikzz.  If you have an ed 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0, you can use my unofficial official menu as I have already added support...

EverDrive 64 / Re: Everdrive V3 not working anymore

Spray lots of ipa inside the switch and contacts and swab off the excess with a cotton bud. Move the switch back and forth a few times to clean where the cotton bud cannot get to. Wait for the ipa to evaporate and try it in the n64 again. If that doesnt work, you could always try replacing the switch, or put a direct wire where the switch should be for your console type...

Project spark was an add on for a 3d game engine, I cannot remember which one, that allowed you to use assets from conker to create your own levels. It also had some pre created ones to play through. I remember downloading it and attempting to play, but my PC was not up to muster...

EverDrive 64 / Re: ED64 User manual

Feel free to edit it yourself, I have made the link so that can be done, and have a backup copy in case anyone tried to ruin the hard work.

I have a sentence on the DD and Aleck rom's, but if you think it can be improved, please do so...

The reason for the X7 being crossed out is mainly because I don't have one and cannot verify the settings etc. (there are subtle changes)… I have though included text on it where I thought necessary. Aldo, this guide started out as a guide for my official-unofficial OS which I have started playing with again (screenshot over USB anyone?!)...

It will take a lot of work to do it all my self (perhaps that is why Krik has never done it) but think it is necessary. Word is easier than markup to start with, but the more I think about it, the more it appeals.

One word of warning, although this is a manual, it needs to document features as if a user was a developer, if it is aimed at the casual ROM user, it will not pass muster due to copyright infringement...

EverDrive 64 / ED64 User manual
« on: January 30, 2020, 01:50 PM »
I have started creating a user manual for the ED64 that will document all of the features of the OS and help new users get started. If anyone would like to help improve the text, then please do so. Once finished, I will either make it into a PDF or convert it to markup format so a true online manual can be created...!AtdtK1B8_beIlcodInq4ND47FnR5pQ?e=WnmgXH

Just replace OS64.Z64 in the ED64 directory
