EverDrive MD / Re: just bought a 32X anything i should know?
« on: May 03, 2016, 08:43 PM »
hi guy, it's me again.
so the everdrive will work as a real normal game.
the everdrive will run master system (western and japanese) megadrive/genesis when plugged on the megadrive/genesis (does anybody can explain me why the genesis in the USA and the very french Canada? I mean, who own the megadrive trademark?)but not the 32X games.
the everdrive will run megadrive/genesis and 32X games when plugged on the combo MD+32X (don't forget the nuclear plant and enough domestic plug to get enough power ;D) but not the SMS games.
Remember that the megadrive can't run some SMS games (like F-16 Fighter) nor the SC-1000 and his clones.

I think no as the structure of SMS AR code is different of the megadrive AR code.

here the link about everdrive MD
and here the link about mega-everdive, all from the very source, krikzz website itself.

so take a look yourself but you should see that the answer is no....

and to make sure you have the good info also from krikkz:

if you really need a ram cart, I have one without box nor notice

yes asterix is PAL and as far as I know, only in pal

You will encounter incompatibility issues with some pal games on an ntsc console but i gather you already know that.

that's why I can't play Astérix (notice the very french é  ;D) on my twin famicom?

EverDrive MD / Re: When running 32x games on Everdrive

When running 32x games - do I just create a new folder in the root menu of the SD card and put the roms inside?
yes, but you don't have to. you can if you want.

Also I have a few 32x roms and the file format says '32X file' -is that the correct file format?
as far as I know, yes.

sometimes, you get instant answer by trying instead of waiting for an answer.

have a good play.

Master EverDrive / Re: Master Everdrive on the original SG-1000
« on: April 01, 2016, 10:40 AM »
if yes, only with the SC-3000 games.... but nobody have tried it before and be aware that the OS could be only made for the SMS so the everdrive wouldn't not run on the SC-3000 (or the SG-1000 it is the same machine without the keyboard)

the real answer is what the slovenian customs will decide if they catch you.

thank you for the clean up. By the way , in case of emergency spam or whatever wrong in the forum, who we should warn to take care of?

Mega EverDrive / Re: Megadrive won't power up with Mega Everdrive
« on: February 27, 2016, 01:14 PM »
try to use an official megadrive power supply.
in most case, it's because there is not enough power (slighty not enough) with an non offical power supply.

Mega EverDrive / Re: SEGA Master System FM audio...
« on: February 22, 2016, 08:44 AM »
well, the answer will depend on which console you want to play FM sound.
the easy way is tu uses japanese mark III+FM unit or japanese Master System.
on a western Master System a hommade device from Australia exists but for the moment no answer from there about this.
or use a Power base Mini FM , homemade from Canada.

but directly from the everdrive, not actually.

just right now, the PAL Sega Worldwide Soccer 98 club edition with a few french, UK and spanish clubs, the rest of world worldwide soccer 98 has only international soccer/football (it depends what kind of english ou french do you speak) team
the NTSC J Daytona USA Circuit Edition is a "no bug" version of the rest of world Daytona USA Circuit championship edition. the japanese version has the daylight/nighttime choice, and a 2-player mode using the taisen cable (link cable)
and, to be confirmed, the US virtual on seems to be played with the directlink (the US , non sega taisen cable).
Remember that here in Europe we do not have "internet" or whatever edition of games to be played online

I can't really help you but try to find how to install something like XMC or other "xbox OS"
