Off Topic / Re: Sega Saturn TruRip Set

ok , it seems a little bit complicated.

as far as I know, E (Europe) and EU( European Union) are the same (at least in other fullset) but for a game which are identical (and compatible) with US and European machine, you should have UE.
but, this is true for the other sega games rip, perhaps not for the saturn.

no, the when you flash the AR to PS, it will keep all the features which are not AR and saves.
For exemple, my PS was a former AR with Ram extension (for SNK and capcom games) so in this case, I can read CDR, all region not only pal and play SNK/capcom games. but I can't anymore save or cheat as I can do with a normal AR

I have one, this cartridge is great, you can load nearly all saturn games: CDR without modchip, foreign games without AR.
I know some guys who sell it, but in french.

Do you mind to buy from France?

what we do in Europe is to put an european power supply in the foreign saturn.
Be aware that it works only if the saturns match. I mean you can exchange the power supply between 2 saturn which are the very same version (not just the model 1 or the model 2, it is a bit more detailed)

you should find on the net how to identify the saturn.
if needed and if your french is good (or your translator with the G letter...) I can give you a link to identify  your saturn and to switch the power supply

Switching between Japan/USA and Europe is usually where the problems occur because they are so dramatically different.
yes indeed, my jap DC still remember the barbecue, now I put in it a 240V power supply. the reverse (plug a EUR console ine the USA) is less dramatic

first of all, you need a few DIY to allow the nomad run the SMS games (I should have somewhere the way-to-do in french if you are ok with this language, otherwise some web search will help you)

Mega EverDrive / Re: Question about Game Genie codes and SEGA CD...
« on: October 19, 2015, 01:45 PM »
good question. as far as I know, Neither the Game genie nor the  Action replay (I mean, the real ones back in the 1990's) do not exist for the sega cd

Mega EverDrive / Re: Incompatible SMS games ?

a few games are known to not work on a megadrive. Nearly all of them are shown in the master converter's user's manual

I guess yes,it works with over everdrive.

you're welcome.
I have the same interest as you

let me check a few thing......
the link you gave is a sega mark III whitout the FM unit.
here you have the real japanese master system with the FM built-in.

no mark III has the FM sound built-in, you have to buy the FM unit separately.
but all japanese master system has the FM sound built-in.
