The chinese have new SD2SNES ProThis is incorrect, the chinese product uses the word "Pro" but it isn't equivalent to the SD2SNES/FXPAK Pro.
would they still be able to use native game save functions in games that allow for savesYes.
Similarly for Sega CD games, will it be possible to save games that supported saves, even without save state support? This should be supported by the new MD Everdrive Pro.
Just do what I've done, buy the new one if you want it, and sell the old one online. You won't take a massive hit on the older one either, there's always a market for these things. Yes Stone Age did a trade-in a few times but to be honest, you could have gotten more $ reselling them. This is the easiest solution.

Also, the menu, come on Krikzz! Why are you using the same atrocious text-based menu in this thing?I disagree here, less is more in my opinion.
Lower price is probably the biggest appeal to this.Lower price is a huge factor in my opinion.
some compatibility issuesDo you have more info about this?
Yeah most new Everdrives have proper level translation, like the Mega Everdrive X5. But what about the Master Everdrive? René says that's also a bad design...Wait a minute, are these quotes from that old article by the french guy or from a new article (2020)?
