Should i be worried about a faulty x5 mini?

Hey everyone. I just ordered an x5 mini. I am now reading that they have faulty parts. Should I be worried I may need to send it in for repair? I haven't even received it yet.

too late for that. I went with everdrive for the quality. The price I paid was for hopes of a well made device. I hope they fixed the issue.

I hope so. I been trying to figure out when the 2nd wave of functional carts are being produced to see if mine is part of them, but I've been having a hard time finding the information.

I’ve never seen this quality issue with Krikzz, but it happens. I’m just sick of hearing about it now - not worth the crap shoot. It’s a pain tracking down which build version they are once they start being distributed.  I’m gonna get the OG I think.

I've never seen it either. I own 4 everdrives by krikzz and they are all wonderful and i couldn't be happier.

Same! I have 6 different ED’s and never had a single issue. I’ll probably buy the original GBA x5.

I wouldn’t buy non mini bc of this

If there’s issues krikzz will take care of theM

I hope mine doesn’t to save more downtime since my x5 mini is in transit but that’s life if it is

The ez omega was crap and saves corrupted all too easily even being cautious and waiting between saves

I've heard the mini has too many issues to justify a purchase as of now, infact I am not even sure that retrotowers has stocked them yet... I have always gotten over the Yoshi Topsy Turvy design a few years back it did kind of irk me as it is easy to accidentally slant it out as it doesn't fit correctly in a GBA due to the size of it but over time it got less and less bothersome.

The fact it has so much potential of various emulation made it a must have for me, even though I have so far only made a proof of concept remake of SCV IV that worked on a GBA with a proper camera follow function the future of emulation is bright on this thing.
