Can't navigate menu on X5 mini

For some reason when I try to use my x5 mini in my original GBAs I can't navigate the menu or select anything. It works in my SP. I can't figure out what would cause this. I have 2 GBAs and it doesn't work in either. They both have LCDs if that matters.

sounds like a power issue, tried wall power?

Sometimes some mods interfere with the normal operation of the Everdrives.

Does that include refurbished devices that are not true AGS 101? I've been using a refurbished one aswell as a genuine one and have had no issue with power operation of the X5 GBA Everdrive.

Unfortunately you can't predict how the Everdrives will work with all the different clones and mods available.
Beware of buying chinese GBA clones or pristine looking GBA consoles especially coming from China.
They even have a GBASP with the innards of an original DS.
