Silpheed and Mad Dog

Silpheed freeze under one minute. Bullet sound repeats in Mad Dog McCree. Others test?

Are you using original hardware?  If so, are you using a Mega CD model 1 or Mega CD 2?

I've played both games on my Mega Sg with no problems at all using a EverDrive Pro.  Both games are USA roms and I use a SanDisk Ultra 128gb micro SD card.

All settings on my Mega Sg and EverDrive Pro are default.

I can confirm that Silpheed (USA) is freezing after a few seconds into level 1, on MegaSG (4.7 fw) with Mega ED Pro (fw 4.02. I haven't tried 4.03 yet), using a 256 GB Sandisk and a 256 GB Kingston micro SD cards.

Come to think of it, the first time I played Silpheed (USA) on my Mega Sg it did crash a few seconds into the first level, but worked fine when I rebooted and it has never happened since.  I've played it a few times since then and got quite far into the game.

My firmware was v4.02 on the EverDrive and v4.7 on the Mega Sg.  I've not tried it since updating to EverDrive firmware v.4.03. 

I'll try it again later tonight to see what happens.

Hi all,

I've just tested and played Silpheed (USA) and confirm it is working perfectly for me. I played through to the end of Stage 6, with a few continues along the way.

My Mega Sg is on official firmware v4.7, EverDrive Pro firmware is v4.03 and I'm using a SanDisk Ultra 128gb micro SD card.

I'm not sure why it's not working for others.

Same bug here. Silpheed freeze in the first level. Surprisingly, when i don't shoot enemies (only avoiding them the first 30s), this bug disappears for me?????
Secondly, music and speech are desynchronize during cinematics.
Tried many other games (US or jap 60hz), only one with this problem.
Version 50hz/PAL works just fine.
Configuration: Megadrive PAL switchless 50/60hz - MegaEverdrive Pro 4.04
