turbo-ed keeps os files inside of flashbios, so not need to copy it on sd

So, i think, i have a problem.

When i put Turbo Everdrive on Core Grafx or PC Engine GT, i have a white screen. I've tried to push red button but no change.  I don't understand.

That's the first time i haven't got the menu with Everdrive (i've MD, N64 and SNES Everdrive).

You should perform disk defragmentation, games and os update will not work if target file is fragmented. OS update will throw error message, game just will not work

The purpose of the switch is to switch the TED from PCE mode the TG16 mode.
What it does inside is to swap a set of connections because the Jap PCE and american TG16 had them reversed as a quick measure against imports.
In the end you need to set it to the mode of your console (PCE for PCE/CoreGrafx/SuperGrafx/Duo/DuoR and TG16 for Tg16/TurboDuo), it will allow to play any game on any system just make it match your console and you're good to go. In details the TED even patches US games to run fine on all Jap system without the need for lifting a pin on the CPU ... so you're all set.

The OS needs to be flashed, that is to say loaded once as any other game. Once it is flashed it stays resident in the TED and the file is not needed anymore, it occupies a different part of the flash so it is not going to get overwritten by any game you may load after.
This is a different among the 2 sets of ED that Krikzz makes. One kind loads the OS at every boot from a file on the SD (like ED64, MegaED ...) so you need it there at all time, the second kind instead flashes it once (like TED, MasterED ....).

Hope it helps.

The TED you'll receive will have an OS flashed and normally Krikzz preflashes a test game on it so if you press Run that game would start.

The SD is something you provide with your games in any directory structure you need (mind that there are limits on how many file per directory you can have).

It is very simple really, TED on startup presents a list on screen, that is the list of the SD top level directory and you can navigate until you find the file you want to "flash then play".
Keep in mind that TED always flashes the game from the SD into its own memory then starts it, that is the reason why the last game flashed is always available to be started via the Run button.

No.
You need tos.pce if and only if you want to update the OS with another version.
Your TED will have an OS already, likely the latest version, so you need nothing.

The day you will want to update (assuming there's a new version) then copy the proper tos.pce file anywhere you see fit in the SD, run it as if it was a game and wait for the process to finish (the screen will tell you what is going on) then you can get rid of the file or leave it there, it doesn't matter.

My point is that TED does NOT load the tos.pce.
