VRC6 Timing too fast.
« on: April 14, 2016, 07:31 AM »
NOTE: Using Slamy's modified mapper 100_75 set at Hi mixing level and an NES with a variable resistor at pins 3+9.

I recorded Castlevania 3 - Beginning to compare the volume levels to a recording of a real cart through an AV Famicom that I found online. While I think I got the volume right, I have noticed that the game plays music a bit faster on the EverDrive. Is the timing off on the FPGA implementation?

Turns out the recording may have been at fault. I downloaded another recording and the timing is exact with that one.

Can a mod please lock this thread?
