@Jincman
Can you switch your SNES to 50Hz? For me that seems to fix the quirks my player currently has @24fps and 60Hz. I'll need to find out why it occasionally misses DMA transfers (they are triggered but the SNES copies 0 bytes...)

Can you steer me in the direction of your player test files?

Thanks, did it work with stock v0.1.7d? Because in the first bit file I didn't change anything about the MSU1 data port.
Yes, with stock v0.1.7d just work fine on rev. E1

As for noise audio other users having, I think some bad rom hack have MSU1 volume set to high.

I'm using SmokeMonster's pre-patched MSU1 games. The MSU1 music volume seems to high now. How can I "reduce" the MSU1 music volume so that is is more balanced with the sound effects? Is it a setting for before the games are patched or is it a setting in SD2SNES that I can adjust?

Ok, I figured out by reading information for Zelda AST that I had to set to +12 in chip configuration. That worked fine. I did not expect +12 to actually "lower" the volume of the music though.

Super Turrican I can't seem to get the NTSC music volume right. Has anyone gotten NTSC Super Turrican MSU1 to sound balanced with sound effects on SD2SNES?

I've had my sd2snes now for a little over 2 weeks, it arrived with 0.1.6 and I quickly got 1.7d. I seriously have had zero problems with anything on this version, this is running on a SFC bought in osaka with a Master System PSU for power. The single purpose of this post is to say thank you for your hard work with this, There's no features I haven't tried, it all works fine.

I just got an SD2SNES from the Krikzz shop, and the first thing I did was put the new firmware on. So far, so good. I was just switching between games. It loads games as fast as my Mega Everdrive. But I feel the SD2SNES is more responsive.

The only thing I don't like is the ugly sticker on the cartridge and the graffiti interface theme.  :P

I finally got around to updating my rev H unit from 0.1.7c to 0.1.7d and all i get is static when attempting to play a MSU1 game. Is there a fix for this or I need to revert to the previous version?

Edit: downloaded the updated fpga_base.bit file from a previous post and that fixed it
