Sd2snes loading times: question
« on: September 06, 2018, 12:33 AM »
hi

i read that the everdrive takes about a minute in order to load some roms, like Killer instinct. Is this true also for Sd2snes cart? Does it require a lot of seconds or a minute to load some  games? Or is the loading times like the original cartridge?

thanks

It's instantaneous (more or less) when the ROM is being copied to the cart. It all depends on the speed of the SD card, especially when it comes to MSU-1 for PCM/FMVs streaming from the SD card. In game, however, it's like the original carts.
Owned Everdrives: Everdrive MD, Mega Everdrive, Everdrive N8, Everdrive GB X5, Turbo Everdrive, Super Everdrive, Everdrive GBA

Misc Flashcarts: SD2SNES

It's so fast that it's really not noticable at all. (practically instant)
