And this is the problem with the Russian telephone game where we go from a potential future update at some unknown date possibly a year or more in the future to a "major feature" of the unit to be expected at launch.

Maybe find out about features from official sources and not from randos on the Internet. (And yeah, I know ikari mentioned the savestate thing too, but it was as a possibility and clearly not something to expect right away.)

But I have seen on the net the save state possibility with sd2snes classic firmware 1.8 + patch, we could think that the new sd2snes (called PRO) could be do save state (like almost all new Krikzz products X7).
I keep waiting about this update, I think it's major because many 40 years peoples plays old favourite games but it's diffult to found time to long gaming session.

I just got SD2SNES Pro and everything seems fine, I tested most special chip games. All work fine except Star Ocean (SDD-1) gets a black screen. SFZero/Alpha 2 work fine.
My ROM is good, its the nointro ROM with CRC32 3DBDFDBF. Edit: My Console is a JPN SNS-CPU-RGB-01 2/1/3


Also, can Sufami Turbo support be added?
