Confusion on which firmware to use for save states
« on: April 18, 2019, 01:48 PM »
I'm using the latest 1.10.3, GSU/SA-1/S-DD1 are all playing for me. I went into the sd2snes options and don't see any selection for save states. Is this a feature implemented in the latest firmware? Or is this in an older firmware? I like the ability to play the new special chip games, and yes I've heard that special chip games cant use the save state function. I apologize if this has been covered before, I'm not here alot and there have been many advances with the firmware and I'm behind in the news. Thanks!

Save states are not supported by the official firmware at this time. A guy called FURiOUS is the original developer of it, and the last public release of firmware that supported save states is 1.8.

The firmware is for the original SD2SNES also, as the Pro wasn't released back then.
