Sattleview Games on Super Everdrive...
« on: May 22, 2019, 05:18 PM »
I don't own a Super Everdrive...

But some people might find these useful.... I found them useful on the SD2SNES (even if it already supports BSX Bios).

You can find quite a few patches/patched roms here allowing quite a few of the Sattleview exclusive games to work in Super Everdrive without a need for the bios.

Here is part 4 of ExciteBoke which doesn't require bios, and you can skip the timers.

For some of these you can find English translation patches as well, that work well with them. For example Chrono Triger Musical library, and BS Super Mario Bros 2.

Of course there are also copies of the Sattleview Zelda games translated and turned into stand alone games as well.

Also don't forget that there is also a stand alone patch for Radical Dreamers too...

There is a standalone patch for Super Aleste as well on Romhacking.net.

Let me know if I"m missing any?

It may be interesting to note since the several updates of the SD2SNES and likely the Pro... the translated rom called "The Town With No Name" cannot run on the latest hardware but the non translated one can.

If the translated one is tried out it will just show a black screen, this used to work back before the SA1 and SSD1 implementations, of course the non translated roms that were put in the folder organized as SD2 SNES Only run fine on a vanilla SNES.

Richard, the translated version works fine for me on my SD2SNES Pro (refresh version). I got it off this site...

Used the NoDRM version.

You need to change the file name to BSXBIOS.Bin, and drop it into the main SD2SNES folder. Programs that need it will automatically load up the town.

The links I provided above though don't require the bios at all.

I already had the bios it may just be an older out of date translation but every BSX game works apart from that one. That includes the pre-patched non house ones such as BSX Aleste and some others.

I have no problem getting into translated town/bios myself.
