I also saw that you posted a while ago about Mario kart super circuit crashing the same way this is here. How did you resolve that situation?

To me, it seems like a memory leak that wouldn't be caused on the real cart, since the roms size is larger than the actual cart.

Can someone verify if this is an issue or not? I want to know if I have to return the cart. :-X

how is the rom larger then the actual cart?

when the cart is 8MB and the rom is 8MB?

The everdrive initialized the game with the full 30mb of memory, so in theory the gba has access to even the unused sections of rom. Seen in the other thread that I will link below.

So, should I return my cart as faulty?

Yeah I do speak english, but I am having a hard time typing on my stupid ass phone.
why the eur rom then?

There are some times when a Eur version of a rom is better than a US one more than just that game. Kirby's Fun Pac is a great example when compared to Kirby Super Star... if you want true polish just check out the opening start up and you'll notice what is different.

That was a bug that made the game try to access outside the rom. Not a memory leak.
A memory leak is a memory management problem that happens usually with programs running on an OS with memory management when the programs fails to release allocated memory. I don't think you would talk about memory leaks on a GBA game, unless it uses some kind of memory management internally (there is absolutely no OS on GBA, just a BIOS).

It has a bonus theme at the end of the game, and this version is just a bit more polished overall :P

Actually, it's a bad ideia to play the european version of Minish Cap, it's an older build than US version and it has a bug in the kinstone fusion that can make the game uncompletable. In case you really want to play this version, you can patch a US rom to get something similar.
That's the only bug I knew and I had never heard about the bug you mentioned.
